Every night, before we put our four-month old to bed we read a children’s book to him. Last night we chose “You Are My Friend: The Story of Mister Rogers and His Neighborhood”, written and illustrated by Aimee Reid and Matt Phelan. I was struck by these words, “Freddie’s mother gave him a way to deal with his worried feelings. She told him to look for people who were helping.” I was reminded that there is much hope during these times. Together, let’s keep our eyes out for the helpers. I am reminded of Jesus’ words from John 15:12 “Love one another as I have loved you.” If you are able, might you lend a hand to your neighbor, and spread God’s love where it is needed? We are resurrection people. By Hannah L.
