Love to read and want to engage in faith conversations sparked by thought-provoking books? Join other adults monthly for Book Talk to discuss a range of both nonfiction and fiction works. Come to one book talk or every one, depending on your schedule and your interests. Meeting year-round, usually the third Monday of the month at 7 pm. Pastor Paul and others are gauging interest for a small group interested in grilling and smoking meat. Those interested will gather occasionally to discuss smoking and grilling, share a meal, and enjoy fellowship in Christ. To express interest, email Shawn Krueger.
Enjoy getting to know Resurrection members and friends at monthly adult social gatherings. The LAFF team plans a wide variety of just-for-fun events for adults. Participate on occasion or sign up for every one! Events such as plays, game-night, chili cook-off and sporting events are just a few of the past outings. Watch for details at church. Golf with the Resurrection guys at Prestwick Golf Club. The Men's Golf League begins June 3rd and continues weekly throughout the summer on Mondays at 5:30 pm. Golfers of all abilities are welcome. Plus a flexible schedule is doable. Contact Bill Daly or Dustin Vogelgesang to register, and let them know your availability: regular (can make most Mondays), sub (fill in any time), or drop-in (golf when available).
Adults 55+ meet the 2nd and 4th Wednesday each month during the school year for Bible study, conversation, laughter, and dessert. Join the study at any time. We meet at church at 1 pm. To learn more, contact Ron Freimark.
The Food and Fellowship group provides an opportunity to meet new people and build friendships while enjoying delicious meals together. Small groups are formed and meet once a month in October, November, January and February. Each group sets the time/date of each gathering and each member has the opportunity to host one dinner and provide the main course, while others bring an appetizer, vegetable or a dessert. Experience the practice of yoga within the faith community through breath, prayer and movement. Led by a trained instructor from Yogadevotion, sessions are offered at Resurrection in 8 week ($72) increments, to which a half session ($36) is an option (payable to Resurrection). We are a group of 20 and 30 somethings who are looking for authentic friendship and to grow deeper in our faith walk together. Join this small group the last Sunday of each month for friendship, appetizers, and light study.We have a Facebook group! - Tuesday mornings women are invited to church for a 9:30 fellowship time, followed by a 10 am study, guided by a Bible study resource or topical book. Beginning Thursday, September 26, at 6:30pm, gather at church weekly for a 6-week series.
