Resurrection invites all youth into the vibrant life of Christ by walking alongside youth and families to trust in Jesus, live out their calling in this world, and serve the world God loves.

Youth ministries encompasses students 6th through 12th grade.  For information, contact Hannah Lorence at

6-8th grade Middle School Ministry

Our Middle School Ministry creates space for students to build relationships with one another, with trusted adults, and with God on Wednesday nights during the school year.  Share a meal together, play 9 square and in the Gaga Pit, and hang out before Confirmation, from 6:00-6:30 p.m.

Confirmation is a part of Middle School Ministry at Resurrection.  Students begin Confirmation as 6th graders and are confirmed in October during their 9th grade year.  Confirmation class for 6-8th graders is Wednesdays, 6:30-8:00 p.m.

9-12th graders High School Ministry

That High School Thing is a safe place for 9-12th graders to find community and a place to belong, and grow deeper in their faith walk.  During the school year we meet every Wednesday from 8-9:30 p.m., in the farmhouse (located next to church).  During the summer we meet the second Wednesday of the month at the fire pit for games and s'mores from 6:15-8:15pm.

Retreats, Camps and Mission Trip

During the year 6-12th graders have an opportunity to attend various retreats.  Summer 2019 opportunities included Camp WAPO, Summer Stretch, a Youth Canoe Trip, and a high school mission trip.

Camp WAPO is the site for weekend and weeklong summer camps for students ranging from 2nd through 12th grade. This camp also offers summer Family Camp weekends, July 19-21 and August 9-11.

The Lake Wapogasset Lutheran Bible Camp association includes Wilderness Canoe Base, a boundary waters camp. Possibilities for year-round retreats there include family camps, parent-child canoe trips, and other intergenerational getaways.
